Wisconsin Badgers Win Again in French Tour

The Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball team improves to 3-0 on its foreign tour of France with a 78-47 win over Lyon Towers today.

Head Coach Greg Gard continues to play around with lineups on this trip, and like I wrote yesterday, it’s the right thing to do. Today’s starting five consisted of Kamari McGee, Max Klesmit, Markus Ilver, Tyler Wahl and Chris Hodges.

Hodges took advantage of getting the start today. I really liked the way he played. He was active for UW on both sides of the ball and had a pair of blocks.

The next lineup in the game was Chucky Hepburn, Jordan Davis, Isaac Lindsey, Carter Gilmore and Steven Crowl.

Wahl played well again today, he hit a 3-pointer today and his confidence is growing from beyond the arc, which has been evident on this trip.

Ross Candelino, Isaac Gard and Luke Haertle made their debuts in today’s game. Haertle also recorded his first points, hitting a pair of free throws after drawing a foul.

UW Point Totals:

Ilver – 14

Crowl – 12

Essegian – 10

Davis – 9

Wahl – 9

Gilmore – 6

Hodges – 5

Klesmit – 5

McGee – 4

Haertle – 2

Hepburn – 2
