The Santa Clara Broncos (11-5, 1-0 WCC) take down the Pacific Tigers (5-11, 0-2 WCC), 84-70, inside the Spanos Center in Stockton, California. The win also marks Herb Sendek’s 500th career win.


All five starters for Santa Clara scored in double-figures.
Jalen Williams led SCU with 22 points on 9-of-16 from the field along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Keshawn Justice (17), Parker Braun (14), Josip Vrankic (13) and PJ Pipes (10) were the others scoring in double-figures.
Carlos Stewart was the only player to score that came off the bench for the Broncos and he finished with eight points.
Santa Clara shot 32-of-60 (53.3%) from the field, 12-of-26 (46.2%) from 3-point range and 8-of-9 (88.9%) at the free throw line. SCU outrebounded Pacific 35-27 and had more assists (16-12), but did have 13 turnovers which is too many.
