Marisa Moseley Hired As Next Wisconsin Women’s Basketball Coach

The Wisconsin Badgers have found their next Women’s Basketball Coach.

Marisa Moseley, who has been the Boston University head coach the past three seasons and previously was an assistant at UConn for nine seasons, has been tabbed as the next head coach for the women’s basketball program at UW. Her contract will go through the Board of Regents for approval tomorrow.

In Moseley’s three seasons at the helm of the Terriers program, she posted an overall record of 45-29.

UW hasn’t posted a winning record since Lisa Stone’s last season when they went 16-15 in the 2010-11 season. The team finished tied for third in the Big Ten that season, but Stone was fired after the Badgers lost to Illinois State in the WNIT.
