The San José State Spartans (11-4, 2-0 MWC) get a statement win in Fort Collins, taking down the Colorado State Rams (8-7, 0-2 MWC) inside Moby Arena, 78-70.
The SJSU win was their first ever victory over Colorado State. The Spartans are now 1-23 all-time against the Rams.
Junior Omari Moore put the Spartans on his back and hit some big shots down the stretch and finished with 29 points on 9-of-15 from the field, grabbed six rebounds and a team-high five assists.
The Mountain West is on notice after a home win over UNLV and road win over Colorado State this week that these San José State Spartans are not to be overlooked this season.
The job Tim Miles has done in year two at SJSU is nothing short of incredible!
