The Green Bay Packers (6-8) get a much needed win on Monday Night Football over the Los Angeles Rams (4-10) by a final score of 24-12 at Lambeau Field. There’s still a heartbeat and a path for the Packers to make it to the playoffs.

Matt LaFleur is now 3-0 against his old pal Sean McVay and didn’t want to run it up at the end so he took a few kneel downs at the LA 3-yard line and finished the game holding the ball for the game’s final 8:51.
With the win, the Packers have now won 14 consecutive games in the month of December, tying the second-longest such streak in NFL history. The only team with a longer streak of December wins was the Chargers, who won 18-straight in the calendar’s final month from 2006 to 2009.
Aaron Rodgers said before the Bears week that he knew the Packers had to win their last five games AND get some help. Tonight, postgame he said: “We’ve won two and just about everything we’ve needed to happen has gone our way. So things are looking up.”
Having Romeo Doubs back is so huge for this Green Bay offense.
Rodgers went 7-for-7 for 91 yards with both Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs on the field in this game and is now 20-for-24 with both on the field this season.
There were some flaws tonight, but I think this was Green Bay’s most complete game of the season.
The offense was efficient and consistently effective.
Defense was for the most part dominant and disruptive.
Special Teams created big plays.
It was a great win. Had to have it, and got it mostly with ease. The Packers survived to play another meaningful game.
Up Next:
The Green Bay Packers will travel to Miami, Florida to take on the Miami Dolphins (8-6) on Sunday, December 25th. Kickoff from Hard Rock Stadium is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. (Central Time) and will be nationally televised on FOX.
It’s another must win game for the Packers.
The Packers will not ruin my Christmas, repeat, the Packers will not ruin my Christmas.
