The Wisconsin Badgers (6-6) will play the Oklahoma State Cowboys (7-5) in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona on December 27th. Kickoff is set for 9:15 p.m. (Central Time) and will be nationally televised on ESPN. Make sure you get a nap in that day.

The last time the Badgers played in this bowl game, it was called the Copper Bowl. That was December 27, 1996, a 38-10 win over the Utah Utes. A guy named Ron Dayne ran for 246 yards. The NCAA stats say that game never happened.
Wisconsin is playing in a bowl game for the 21st consecutive season. This is the second bowl game in a Major League Baseball ballpark for UW in the last five years. The Badgers beat the Miami Hurricanes, 35-3, at Yankee Stadium in the 2018 Pinstripe Bowl. Along with the Guaranteed Rate Bowl being played at a MLB park, Fenway Park, Yankee Stadium and Petco Park are slated to host Bowl games this year as well.
