It’s officially that time of year when it’s college football and college basketball season, where no one is safe, including your neighbor’s nighttime quiet hours.
The Wisconsin Badgers (1-0) put on a heck of a showing tonight at the Kohl Center in a 85-59 win over a good South Dakota Coyotes (0-1) team.

Sleep on this team and doubt this team at your own peril.
The first ten minutes of the game, I’m sure head coach Greg Gard wasn’t satisfied with the defense and some of the forced shots. But halfway through the first half, the Badgers took complete control of the game.
Tyler Wahl finished the night with a double-double, scoring 19 points, grabbed 10 rebounds to go with four assists.
Chucky Hepburn looked good tonight, finishing with 14 points and three assists.
Connor Essegian scored six points on 2-of-3 from the field, with a rebound and an assist in 14 minutes. But I loved the way he played off the ball tonight.

Up Next:
The Wisconsin Badgers will play the Stanford Cardinal (1-0) on Friday, November 11th. This is the Brew City Battle event and the game will be played at American Family Field, home of the Milwaukee Brewers, in the first college basketball game ever played at the ballpark. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. (Central Time) and will be nationally televised on FS1.
