The San José State Spartans (3-1, 1-0 MWC) host the UNLV Rebels (4-1, 2-0 MWC) tonight from CEFCU Stadium in San Jose, California. Kickoff is set for 9:30 p.m. Central Time/7:30 p.m. Pacific Time. The game will also be nationally televised on CBS Sports Network (CBSSN).

Here’s a sentence that maybe no one has ever heard: This SJSU vs UNLV matchup will be the best in the Mountain West of Week Six.
The Rebels, in a way, have become the darling of college football in 2022, after going a combine 2-16 in the previous two seasons and have only won five or more games once in a season since 2015.
UNLV quarterback Doug Brumfield has been for the most part phenomenal this season. He leads the conference in passing yards (1,223), touchdowns (8) and quarterback efficiency (154.5), and doing so while only throwing two interceptions on the season.
Spartans quarterback Chevan Cordeiro is one of three quarterbacks in the country to throw for 1,000-plus yards and zero interceptions.
The UNLV defense, however, is second in the nation with 11 interceptions.
The SJSU defense, led by senior linebacker Kyle Harmon, has been really good this season.
People that live in Northern California, make your way out to CEFCU Stadium tonight for this exciting dark horse matchup!
Prediction:
San José State 27, UNLV 24.
