Milwaukee Bucks Fall To Boston Celtics in Las Vegas Summer League

In a wildly entertaining game that saw 20 lead changes, the Milwaukee Bucks (1-1) lost a heartbreaker to the Boston Celtics (1-1), 111-109, as Matt Ryan hit a miracle three-pointer with 0.8 seconds remaining to give Boston the win inside Cox Pavilion in the 2022 Las Vegas NBA Summer League.

Sandro Mamukelashvili I thought had a heck of a game. He finished with 28 points on 9-of-19 from the field, including 3-for-5 from beyond the arc, nine rebounds, three steals, two blocks and two assists in 30 minutes.

Mamu also had a filthy dunk in the final minute of the game that you can see here.

Lindell Wigginton was great off the bench and looked confident. Wigginton finished with 24 points on 8-of-13 from the field, 3-of-7 from 3-point range, five rebounds, five assists and one steal in 23 minutes.

I was really impressed with how Mamukelashvili and Wigginton played tonight and hopefully this continues.

First round draft pick MarJon Beauchamp finished with 15 points on 6-of-12 from the field (2-of-4 from 3), with three rebounds and an assist in 29 minutes.

Beauchamp’s shooting has been a little hot and cold, but he has looked really solid defensively and looks nice finishing around the rim. He’s been super aggressive and has finished through some tough contact.

I feel he has played too fast at times, especially early on in games and once he has settled in then things have been better.

Up Next:

The Bucks will continue with Summer League play will play the Minnesota Timberwolves (1-1) on Wednesday, July 13th from inside the Thomas & Mack Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. (Central Time) and will be nationally televised on NBA TV.
