Milwaukee Bucks Guard Pat Connaughton Picks Up Player Option

Milwaukee Bucks guard Pat Connaughton has picked up his $5.7M player-option and will return to the team in 2022-23.

Connaughton was the 41st pick in the 2015 NBA Draft coming out of Notre Dame and spent the first three years on his career with the Portland Trail Blazers before coming over to the Milwaukee Bucks prior to the start of the 2018-19 season.

“Planet Pat,” as the Bucks fans call him, played in 65 games during the 2021-22 season, averaging 9.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game, while shooting 39.5% from 3-point range.

He did miss some time with a hand injury, but still served as an important piece off the bench for Milwaukee.

I’m personally a big fan of him returning.
