The 2022 Big Ten Softball Tournament will begin tomorrow, May 11th, at Secchia Stadium on the campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. The top 12 teams make the tournament and it’s a single-elimination tournament. The Tournament Championship game will be on Saturday, May 14th.
This year is the 23rd Big Ten Softball Tournament.

The Northwestern Wildcats enter the tournament as the 1-seed after winning their eighth Big Ten regular season title.
The Wisconsin Badgers (27-18, 12-11 B1G) staggered to the finish line to finish as the 8-seed, will take on their arch-rival, the Minnesota Golden Gophers (26-23-1, 11-12 B1G) who enter the tournament as the 9-seed.
“The brave people advance,” UW head coach Yvette Healy said.
