This series will be headed to the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin knotted up at one game a piece, as the defending NBA Champion Milwaukee Bucks fall 109-86 to the Boston Celtics at TD Garden in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Yay! I get to be “the Bucks fan” at the office tomorrow! This is the worst when you are one of the only ones, if not the only one.
Milwaukee had a brutal first half on both ends of the court. The offense was too stagnant, there was little-to-no ball movement and iso ball. Giannis and Jrue shot the Bucks out of the game in the first half.
In the first half, Giannis and Jrue were a combined 6-for-23 (26.1%), while the rest of the team was 9-for-12 (75.0%).
The Bucks finished with 16 turnovers. These double-digit turnover games need to stop. We need 8-or-less turnovers per game going forward.
In the first half, Wesley Matthews got a streal. Jevon Carter immediately turned it over that led to a Celtics 3-pointer. In the second half, Brook Lopez swatted a Jaylen Brown dunk attempt, Bucks couldn’t corral it and it resulted in a Celtics 3-pointer.
It was one of those nights for the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Milwaukee defense did find more success in the second half and the offense seemed to have found a few things as well in that second half.
I think Mike Budenholzer might go away from Bobby Portis in the starting lineup. I’m not sure that’s the right move, but I think he might do it. Also, I hope Marcus Smart is back for Game 3.
At the end of the day, if you would have told me the Bucks would be 1-1 heading back to Milwaukee, I would have taken that in a heartbeat. As I’ve said several times already, it was imperative that Milwaukee picked up a win in Boston in one of the first two games.
Three off days in a row is a little bit brutal though after a game like that.
