The Green Bay Blizzard (2-4) hang on for a 34-25 win over the Vegas Knight Hawks (2-4) this afternoon inside the Resch Center for a much needed win.

Green Bay had an outstanding first half and took a 34-0 lead in to intermission. But the offense couldn’t generate anything in the second half and failed to even pick up a first down in the final 30 minutes.
Blizzard quarterback Jack Sheehan completed 8-of-17 (47.1%) passes for 77 yards and three touchdowns.
Toren Young led Green Bay in rushing with 65 rushing yards and one touchdown. Jack Sheehan also had a rushing touchdown and 26 rushing yards.
Young also led the Blizzard with 24 receiving yards on two receptions. Steven Newbold had one reception for a 22-yard touchdown. KeShaun Taylor had a team-high four receptions for 20 yards and two touchdowns. Shaquan Curenton had one reception for 11 yards.
Corey Roberson and company will need to make some adjustments so they don’t have another second half like they did today.

The Green Bay Blizzard will travel to Moline, Illinois to take on the Quad City Steamwheelers (3-3) on Saturday, April 30th. Kickoff time is scheduled for 7:05 PM (Central Time) and will be televised on the Indoor Football League YouTube channel (IndoorFootballLeague).
Green Bay is 1-1 all-time against Quad City.
