The defending World Champion Milwaukee Bucks (51-31) have drawn the 3-seed in the Eastern Conference NBA Playoffs. Their opponent in the First Round will be one they’re all too familiar with, it’s their rival, the Chicago Bulls (46-36), who secured the 6-seed.
The Milwaukee Bucks had chances to lock up the 2-seed today, and had an opportunity to challenge for the 1-seed in the last two weeks, but instead they chose to rest their starters and put a lineup on the floor that you’d expect to see at your local YMCA for pickup games.
Milwaukee went 4-0 against Chicago during the regular season, and the Bucks have won 15 of the last 16 matchups with the Bulls. This will be the first playoff series between the two rivals since 2015, when Chicago won the series 4-2 and Giannis Antetokounmpo form tackled Mike Dunleavy in Game 6 of that series.

The schedule has not been announced as I publish this blog, but I will be sure to update you all when it is released with more in-depth previews of the series as the week goes on. I would assume that the series starts on Saturday, however.
