The Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons (12-10, 11-6 NACC) men’s basketball team clinched a share of the NACC regular season title (with Concordia Chicago and St. Norbert) with a 90-74 road victory Wednesday night over the Dominican Stars (2-21, 1-16 NACC).

Dominican came out of the gates hot with a 10-5 lead, but CUW responded with a 12-0 run and never looked back and cruised to a 37-24 halftime lead.
In the first half, senior Brandon Keller from Plymouth, Wisconsin recorded his 600th career rebound for CUW.
Dominican trimmed the CUW lead to eight points with 15:40 remaining, but the Falcons went on a 9-1 run that seemed to be the knockout punch when the Falcons lead ultimately grew to 21 points.
Concordia Senior Joey Zietlow from Oak Creek, Wisconsin scored a career-high 27 points.
Brandon Keller was a rebound short of a double-double performance, finishing with a game-high nine rebounds and 16 points.
CUW also dominated the glass with a 52-32 rebounding advantage. The Falcons also recorded 20 assists, with Jared Jurss having a game-high six assists.
This is the 11th overall conference title for CUW, the fifth NACC title and fourth title under head coach Shawn Cassidy.
