The Wisconsin Badgers (8-13-3, 5-8-1 B1G) men’s hockey team uses two goals in the third period to take down the Michigan State Spartans (11-12-1, 5-9-0 B1G) tonight, 3-2, inside the Kohl Center to complete the two-game sweep.

Goaltender Jared Moe made 24 saves in net for UW.
The Badgers went 2-for-7 (28.6%) on the Power Play and 2-for-2 (100%) on the Penalty Kill.
Matthieu De St. Phalle scored three goals this weekend for the Badgers.
Tarek Baker and Carson Bantle each posted assists on the third period major Power-Play goals.
With the win, UW passed Michigan State for fifth place in the Big Ten conference.

The Badgers will hit the road and play the Penn State Nittany Lions in University Park, Pennsylvania on Friday, January 21st. Game time is scheduled for 6:00 PM (Central Time).
