Milwaukee Bucks Fall To Minnesota Timberwolves

The Milwaukee Bucks (3-2) fall to the Minnesota Timberwolves (3-1) tonight, 113-108, inside Fiserv Forum.

The Bucks had a good stretch in the second quarter and late in the fourth quarter to make a run at it, but ultimately Milwaukee played some flat out awful basketball and shot the ball terribly.

I miss not having Jrue Holiday and Brook Lopez on the court.

Milwaukee shot 39-of-95 (41.1%) from the field, 14-of-51 (27.5%) from 3-point range and 16-of-21 (76.2%) at the free throw line. The Bucks also got outrebounded 60-52.

I was not a fan of the Bucks signing Semi Ojeleye and tonight he proved why. He was 0-for-5 from the field (all 3-pointers) and 0-for-2 at the foul line and wasn’t very good defensively and finished the night with a minus-7.

Semi doesn’t deserve minutes over Jordan Nwora right now, especially with Holiday and Lopez out.

Giannis Antetokounmpo balled out and was really the only reason why the Bucks were able to keep it within 20 the whole game. Giannis finished with 40 points on 15-of-23 from the field, 3-of-6 from 3-point range and 7-of-9 at the free throw line. Antetokounmpo also had 16 rebounds, seven assists and three blocks.

It was good to be back inside the Fiserv Forum tonight and it was awesome to see the 2021 championship banner.

Up Next:

The Bucks will host the San Antonio Spurs (1-3) on Saturday night, October 30th at Fiserv Forum. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM (Central Time).
