Colt Brennan Dead at 37 Years Old

In shocking news, the record setting Hawaii Rainbow Warriors quarterback, Colt Brennan, has passed away at the age of 37.

Colt Brennan’s 2007 season was one of the most fun to watch in recent college football memory. He threw for 5,549 yards and 58 touchdowns in 14 games.

Those late Saturday night Hawaii games were must see.

I was at the Hawaii game in San Jose against San Jose State in October 2007, that’s when Hawaii was really rolling.

Brennan was playing on an injured ankle, but brought Hawaii back from a 35-21 deficit with 12:33 left in the game to win 42-35 in overtime.

Brennan completed 44-of-75 passes that night for 545 yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions on that Friday night in October.

Brennan is the cousin of current San Jose State football coach, Brent Brennan.

RIP and condolences to his family.
