Wisconsin Badgers Volleyball Takes On Texas Longhorns in Final Four Tonight

After an incredible two-year run, the Wisconsin Badgers volleyball team has one thing left to accomplish.

If UW’s season ends in defeat at Chi Health Center Arena in Omaha, Nebraska — either tonight in the National Semi-Finals at the hands of Texas or Saturday in the title game against either Washington or Kentucky — Kelly Sheffield’s players and the Grateful Red will be devastated.

Tears will flow.

After all, Wisconsin’s players vowed after losing to Stanford in the 2019 National Championship game to return this year and win the National Title.

Yet even if UW (18-0) fails to cut down the nets the players understand their two-year run is arguably the most successful in the history of the program.

All involved need to appreciate the two-year run and remember that even though UW returned eight seniors to this years team, nothing was guaranteed.

The No. 1-seeded Badgers continue their quest for the National Title tonight where they play No. 4-seeded Texas (26-1) tonight at 8:30 PM (Central Time) in the second Final Four game and will be nationally televised on ESPN.
