San Jose State vs Santa Clara Men’s Basketball Game Canceled

The San Jose State Spartans (1-2) and Santa Clara Broncos (6-0) were scheduled to play their annual rivalry game tonight at Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz, California.

The game was originally scheduled to tip-off at 6:00 PM (PT) but was delayed for two hours and the new scheduled tip-off was at 8:15 PM (PT). And then the game was canceled.

The game was supposedly canceled because there was an issue that prevented SJSU’s covid-19 tests from arriving in time to play the game.

There’s apparently no plans to reschedule the game.

SJSU opens up MWC play on the road in Logan, Utah where they’ll play two games against the Utah State Aggies (3-3). The first game will be on Monday, December 21, at 8:00 PM (CT) / 6:00 PM (PT). The second game will be Wednesday, December 23, also a 8:00 PM (CT) / 6:00 PM (PT) tip-off.
