For the first time since 1939, the San Jose State Spartans football team is 5-0. SJSU beat Hawaii 35-24 in a game that was originally scheduled to take place at CEFCU Stadium in San Jose and then got relocated to Aloha Stadium in Honolulu.
The Spartans are in first place in the Mountain West Conference and a victory over Nevada next week will secure an appearance in the Mountain West Championship game. A loss and they won’t play for the conference title.
SJSU continues to make history for the program during this crazy year we call 2020.
The biggest game in program history in a very long time is next Friday, December 11, on the road in Reno against the Nevada Wolf Pack. Kickoff is set for 9:00 PM (CT) / 7:00 PM (PT) and will be televised on CBS Sports Network (CBSSN).
