The NCAA announced today in response to the concerns over the spread of Coronavirus that fans will not be able to attend the Men’s and Women’s NCAA Tournaments.
The Gazelle Group, who runs the College Basketball Invitational (CBI), announced today that this years CBI has been cancelled because of the uncertainty of the Coronavirus.
The Gazelle Group, which created the tournament in the 2007-08 season, said the CBI would return in 2021.
The CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT) said in a statement that the CIT is still scheduled to be played.

Horizon League: Northern Kentucky (23-9)
Ivy League: Yale (23-7)

Ohio Valley: Belmont (26-7)
Patriot: Boston (21-13)
Southern: East Tennessee State (30-4)
Summit League: North Dakota State (25-8)
West Coast: Gonzaga (31-2)
Selection Sunday is this Sunday, March 15. The First Four games will tip March Madness off in Dayton, Ohio on March 17 and March 18. The real first round begins March 19 and March 20. The second round follows that on March 21 and March 22.
The mid-major that I think is a dangerous team that I’m sure many will overlook are the Hofstra Pride from Hempstead, New York who defeated Northeastern in the CAA Tournament Title game yesterday. I have Hofstra as a 13 seed in the tournament.
