The San Jose State Spartans Men’s Basketball team lost to New Mexico, 79-66, in Las Vegas in the Mountain West Conference Tournament First Round.
The Spartans looked good for the first 3 minutes of the game and led 8-4. However, that was the only bright spot for the Spartans this afternoon.
The Lobos went on a 21-0 run to take a 25-8 lead and never looked back.
Seneca Knight led SJSU with 22 points. Omari Moore added 17 points.
San Jose State finishes the season with a 7-24 overall record and lost the final 10 games of the season.
Jean Prioleau just finished year number three at the helm of the program and SJSU has a 15-77 record under his tutelage. That includes a 5-52 record against Mountain West opponents (regular season & MWC tournament).
When will the SJSU administration admit they made a mistake? They’ve already had several donors not renew season tickets and/or stop donating.
