The Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/GM David Poile announced today that the team has relieved Head Coach Peter Laviolette and Associate Coach Kevin McCarthy of their coaching responsibilities.
Laviolette got the job prior to the 2014-15 season, 248 wins later and a 19-15-7 start to the 2019-20 campaign, it was apparently time to move on.
There has been no announcement yet on who will be taking over.
