Inside the R. John Buuck Field House last night in front of 498 fans, emotions ran high, as Head Coach Shawn Cassidy and senior Andrew Fratzke both achieved career milestones against Dominican. The Falcons came away with an 81-66 victory over the Dominican Stars, which puts Concordia in contention for the top seed in the NACC.
Andrew Fratzke picked up his 1,000th career point at the free throw line in the game last night.
Head Coach Shawn Cassidy picked up his 200th win at CUW and in his career as the buzzer sounded. Cassidy is the second coach to reach that mark in CUW program history and is only 15 wins behind program leader William Ackman. Cassidy will no doubt be the winningest coach in CUW program history in the near future.
Concordia Wisconsin will be up against Benedictine on Saturday with the tip-off scheduled for 4:15 pm (CT) inside the Rice Center.
